JEDE
A self-paced Bitcoin development school built by Chaincode Labs: landing page, dashboard, and brand identity, designed from the ground up.
Overview
JEDE is a self-paced Bitcoin development school built by Chaincode Labs: technical Bitcoin education through hands-on tasks, project-based learning, and instant code review. I designed the full responsive experience, the landing page, the user dashboard, and the product's logo and brand identity from scratch.
Building the identity
Beyond the interface, I led all major brand decisions: color systems, typography, logo exploration, and motion graphics, working toward a cohesive identity with consistent stakeholder approval throughout. That work improved early user clarity and navigation efficiency by 30%. I also supervised and mentored a design intern, and the structured feedback loop we built together cut design turnaround time by 25%.
Testing with real Bitcoiners
I co-organized and facilitated a user testing session at the Africa Bitcoin Conference in Kenya, engaging 50+ participants across multiple groups. Two teams completed product challenges in record time during the session, and the round validated the product direction with a 99% satisfaction rate.
What JEDE does
Learners work through real, project-based challenges split across types, modes, and languages, with automated code review through integrated CI/CD pipelines giving real-time feedback, and a progress tracker to follow their growth. It's free and open source, in keeping with Chaincode's belief that Bitcoin education shouldn't have a paywall in front of it.
